Katie + Michael’s engagement session at Powells Bookstore + Tanner Springs Park was such a sweet reflection of their story. We started at Powell’s Books in Portland, the same place where Michael proposed, which made that part of the session feel especially meaningful and personal. This bookstore is absolutely iconic and an absolute favorite of mine. I am a big reader so it was a challenge for me to remain focused on their session without my eyes wandering to the shelves.
From there, we headed to Tanner Springs Park for a different pace, with a mix of greenery, city textures, and quiet corners that gave their photos such a romantic, relaxed feel. It was the perfect blend of sentimental and playful, and such a fun way to document this season of their relationship in two spots that felt so true to them.
